5/14/02 Short and sweet today. Today was a travel day for us, and we cruised from Norman, OK into Medicine Lodge, KS, placing us a little closer to what looks like may be storm development on Wednesday. We aren't expecting anything huge, and have the cameras set for nighttime lightning photography. The storms should be pretty high based, and start firing up late. Thursday is looking interesting as well. We had our annual meeting in Norman, going over what we've done in the past year and where we're going in the future. We are going to really focus in on our school presentations, article writing, and completing ELVIS. We were all delighted with the progress and growth of our fledgling group at Minnesota State; Josh Jans put on a PowerPoint presentation for us that knocked our socks off. Based on the success of that group, we're curious to see if other universities have an interest in doing a similar thing. Huge thanks to the many kind notes and letters some of you have been sending. They are always welcomed, particularly in these down days. From our home in Medicine Lodge, Nancy, Brian, Chris, Josh, Allan, and Grizz
