5/19 UPDATE We deployed early today for the border of the TX panhandle and OK, and ended up sitting in Eldorado, OK. We caught some interesting pulse storms that allowed us some good photo ops, but things didn't start getting juicy till be deployed to the northeast. We got some marvelous shots of some very turbulent storms. What we've been waiting for looks like it may happen tomorrow. As we sit SE of Oklahoma City in Ada, we are looking at tomorrow's moderate risk... and are making our plans accordingly. We stayed too long at the storms, finding ourselves without lodging at 9pm. We did manage to find the last two rooms in Oklahoma in a little hotel in Ada, and we're all pretty bushed. We'll send a much more in depth update tomorrow when the adrenaline is at a more manageable level and we are a tad more awake. In closing, with an explanation forthcoming, beware of Mexican restaurants in towns that aren't on the map. Be afraid. Be very afraid. Oh, we have started updating the www.mcwar.org site, and Allan's webmaster should have some of today's shots up by Monday at www.allandetrich.com And thanks so much for all of you who have sent letters! We appreciate them so much, and all of them have been shared with the entire team.
